We know that Surgery is the most common and effective way of treating Ovarian cancer. It depends on the stage of the cancer. Your doctor will suggest you for surgery after checking how far cancer has gone. It is suggested to remove ovaries and uterus in many cases. But for the women who is in the age of childbearing. Therefore,the surgery can be performed without removing the ovaries and uterus. However, Surgery is more intensive if you don’t plan for baby in future. You may need more surgery if you have stage 2, 3 or 4 cancer. This may include complete removal of the affected area. As in result, You will not be able to have a baby in future.
Chemotherapy is systematic approach of ovarian cancer treatment. Chemo is the use of drugs to treat the cancer. Doctor can inject Chemo drug into vein or may give directly through the mouth. But in some cases, it is directly inject into the abdominal cavity. There are various side effects of chemotherapy like:

Hormone therapy is the use of hormone blocking drugs. It involves combination of drugs to reduce estrogen levels. Sometimes, progesterone level is increase to prevent the cancerous cell from growing. There are different types of hormone therapy available.
